Badges
It will be the best solution to highlight users for their activity or encourage them to do something. A badge resembles a colour label with a short text or a small picture near the nickname. One user can get one or several badges simultaneously. Badges can be permanent or disappear and change after a while. You can also set the automatic badge assessment with triggers and add tooltips and notifications to inform users why they receive the badge and how to obtain the same one.
You can assign badges manually or via API.
There are two types of badges
-
for in-chat activity (manual or triggers assignment)
These badges reward user engagement within the chat and can be linked to specific actions such as joining the chat for the first time, maintaining an active streak, participating in polls or quizzes, sending a certain number of messages, and more.
You can easily automate badge assignment by configuring triggers or manually assign them for special cases.
-
for activity on the main platform (with API or manually)
These badges recognize user achievements or statuses across the main platform (your platform which Watchers solution is integrated with) — for example, Club/VIP members, subscribers, or users within other defined tiers or loyalty groups. They can reflect various forms of engagement and gamification, such as: completing paid or premium activities, maintaining consistent daily activity, reaching milestones (e.g., a certain number of sessions, games, or watched titles), progressing through loyalty or reward levels.
Badges can be assigned automatically via the badge API or manually through the admin panel.
