Fan club promotion

A Fan club promotion is an in-chat banner that invites users to join a fan club. Show it to users who do not yet wear any club's logo, set how often they see it, and decide for how long the campaign runs.

Manage promotions under Widgets → Fan clubs → Promotion.

What you configure

A promotion is one piece of creative shown across the chat. It has three parts:

  • A banner with an image, a title, and a description.
  • A button with its own copy and color.
  • A schedule — for how long the campaign runs and how often the banner re-appears for the same user.

All texts are entered per language and can be filled in once and translated automatically — see language settings.

Create a promotion

  1. Open Widgets → Fan clubs, then click Promotion.
  2. Fill in the Banner section (the form has a tab per project language plus an Auto-translate button — fill it in for one language and translate the rest in one click):
    • Banner image — JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, or WebP. Up to 10 MB. The same image is used for every language.
    • Title — up to 23 characters.
    • Description — up to 140 characters.
  3. Fill in the Button section:
    • Button text — up to 28 characters.
    • Button color — pick a preset to set the button background and text color in one tap.
  4. Set the schedule under How long the promotion lasts:
    • Unlimited — the promotion runs from the moment you save it until you stop it.
    • Custom — pick From and To dates. The promotion is visible only inside that window.
  5. Set the cadence in Show the banner to users each … day (only who didn't get club's logo) — enter a positive integer. Each user sees the banner at most once per that many days, and only while they have not yet joined any club.
  6. Verify the Promotion preview pane on the right. The preview reflects the language tab you have open, so switch tabs to check translations.
  7. Click Save. Watchers shows "Promotion saved" (or "Promotion has been updated" when editing).

You return to the Fan clubs page after saving. To edit the promotion later, open Promotion again — the existing values are loaded into the form.

Who sees the banner

The banner is shown only to users who do not currently wear any club's logo. Once a user joins a club, the banner stops appearing for them. Users who already belong to a club never see it.

The cadence (the each … day field) controls how often the banner re-appears for the same eligible user. It does not affect users who have never seen it before.

Tips

  • Save is disabled until you have a non-empty cadence, valid dates (when Custom is picked), and at least one filled-in language. The form blocks you, so you cannot publish a half-translated banner.
  • Custom schedules are inclusive — both From and To dates count as active days.
  • The button color presets are the same set used for badges, so you can keep visual style consistent across engagement features.
