AI Sports Assistant

AI Sports Assistant is designed to provide your end-users with an expert-level companion for sports-related insights. Users can interact with it in either public or private chats and find all the sports-related information they need, while staying on your platform.

How does it work?

You can choose how the AI Coach will communicate with your users: in private chats or in a public one (the name of the bot can be changed together with its avatar).

For a private chat with the AI Assistant, users need to click the button to request access to the bot. They will then be taken to a private chat where they can ask about sports events, athletes, and more.

The AI assistant can keep context and remember previous questions, so users can continue the conversation after some time.

For a public chat, users simply need to type @ and select the bot’s name from the dropdown menu. They can then ask the bot to share any sports-related information. All other in-chat users will see both the question and the bot’s response. In a public chat, the bots also keeps the context of the conversation with the same user, so it is possible to come back to the earlier dialogue.

How to activate and set up

• Open Settings in the admin panel.

• Go to the Bot section.

• Click a Create button (you will get at https://chatadmin.watchers.io/chatbot/create).

  Here, you'll see the flow to add your own bot, or activate the pre-built agent. Here, you can set up the bot's name, choose a colour for its nickname, upload avatar.

  The chatbot external ID is the parameter you use in a Bot API. You don't need to fill it in if you activate our sports assistant—use it only for the connection with your own bot.

As you can see on the page, you can allow your bot to communicate in specific rooms from the list or everywhere. You can add the bot's disclaimer and translate it into the needed languages. You can also toggle it for personal use.

The highlighted toggle activates our sports assistant, sp. Don't forget to switch it on.
